We have a scenario . where SAP BW system is connected to ERP (OLD) currently data is extracted from this old ERP system but moving forward there will be a new ERP system which will be replacing old ERP system (different IP, Instacenumber and SID) .
My question .
we don't want to disturb existing bw model or data . instead we want to switch source systems (I.e from Old ERP system to new ERP system). So that users have a felxibilty of reporting on the old ERP data aswell on the new ERP system .
How we can do that . what would be the impacts and what all needs to considered before changing the source systems. How to differentiate between old erp data and new erp data in the reporting (Transactional data and Master data)
