Over the past weeks we are seeing many incidents being opened by BW customers wich are receiving a Syntax error in GP_ERR_RSTRAN_MASTER_TMPL_M when trying to activate or transport transformations.

Message no. RG102
There are many causes for this error, they can occurs from transformation routines, or inconsistency in mapping of fields till program errors.
Having this error on mind I decided to create this blog to provide some notes that can be checked before open an incident for SAP.
